The narration. The story. Everything. Perfect. Visceral. Beautiful. Inspiring. I cried a few times. Definitely recommend.

Story
Love that says something, instead of just looking like it. Love you can always trust to feel like home. For both of them, it’s something that has always been just outside of their peripheral, something to be observed rather than experienced. A depth of feeling reserved for people who were “into” that, those with a different outlook, those more...deserving. Until their paths cross.

Loved the book. The narrator didn’t pick up on the appropriate intonation for some of the colloquialisms.. but overall good enough to listen to again.

Story
Yinka’s Nigerian aunties frequently pray for her delivery from singledom, her work friends think she’s too traditional (she’s saving herself for marriage!), her girlfriends think she needs to get over her ex already, and the men in her life…well, that’s a whole other story. But Yinka herself has always believed that true love will find her when the time is right.
