Fantastic narration! Started slow to develop characters, then was very hard to pause the book. excellent story telling, weaving truth and fiction to create visuals that made you feel like you were there, and gain a better understanding of life in those times.

Talk about an ego...

I have had to force myself to continue to listen to this book. So far, at chapter 6, I could tell you everything you need to know in about 6 minutes. She rambles and rambles and rambles and, oh, did I mention she rambles? She rarely gets to the point, and spends 99 percent of each chapter with so-so stories of the application of the rule, or the rather long dissertation of how sucky her life was when she discovered the rule. I am glad she discovered the rule, and glad that it works for her and others, but I think a 30 minute primer story would have covered everything she needed to really say, with examples, and practical applications, and I probably would have enjoyed that. Her reading is good, she tries to maintain some energy in the stating the same words over and over again, for that I give her credit. Sorry, I agree with another reviewer - go and find a TED talk or some short overview on You Tube, and save yourself a lot of listening to nothing that adds value to her method.
