Interesting dinosaur review, including review of their extinction. So different than what we knew 40 years ago in my childhood. A helpful connection to climate concerns. Worth a listen.

Worth reading through, but somewhat simplistic. Some of the IVF science referenced isn’t correct- seems like a bit more research would have added a lot. But the characters were 3-dimensional and likable.

Enjoyed this one enough to make it through, though I sorted the twists out early. Entertaining enough!

I was hoping for something similar to Willinghams previous books, but this one was disappointing. I did finish it, but the first 3/4 could have been summed up in 3 chapters. Tons of details were included without ever going too deep on even the main characters. I was left not sure I believed the profile of any of the 3 lead female characters. In the end there were a number of twists and turns, which I appreciated, but the story just wasn’t all that compelling.

Worth picking up. Complex story over generations of several close families. Strong female characters and compelling mystery.

This one was a little disappointing. The development of Julio and Abby’s relationship wasn’t believable and didn’t totally make sense.

Worth a read, this man vs the machine book is the first in a series. I read the third book first by chance and enjoyed seeing the parallels and connections. I’ll likely read the rest of the series.

Entertaining story, though predictable and full of tropes. Easy to read and follow without too much thought.

Lama Rod’s honesty, poetry and concrete tools combine in this inspired and epic work. Reading through is literally important work for the reader, each section a reckoning offering challenge, invitation and guidance.

I’ve already re-read several sections, shared quotes and the whole book with folks I love who it would sing to in their current moment. I would recommend this book to everyone; To anyone trying hard to figure out how to be in the world.

As always, Lama Rod show up. He sits with conflicting emotions and realities and finds truth that can hold them all.
