Would you listen to Run again? Why?

Yes. It was a fast paced story and a good listen. And as with all GOOD sci-fi, the story was solidly constructed, well thought out, and decently executed.

Who was your favorite character and why?

It's a toss up between the male protagonist, Johnny, and the wise elder, Adam.

Have you listened to any of George Kuch’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have not had the pleasure of listening to George Kuch before. I did like his reading of this book.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed this book. I really wanted to know what was going on with these people. There was a mystery, a story unraveling, and I was anxious to know what the final outcome was.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is a great book! To be honest though, having both listened to the audiobook and read it in print, I would try to get a friend to read it in print first. But that is no fault of the narration of the audiobook. I just think this is one of those books that is great to read.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I thought the narrator did a worthy job and put a good voice to the book and characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book is pretty disturbing.

Any additional comments?

This is a great book for anyone that likes horror and thrillers.

What did you love best about The Colony: Genesis?

Ken Strickland walking around in a near constant state of mental fog from concussions. I thought that his disjointed and meandering thoughts really brought the character's personality to life, as well as giving the story some really great humor.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Colony: Genesis?

Some of the thoughts Ken had about students in his class throughout the book.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were actually quite a few of them. I really want to know what's causing all of this! What's up with the bees?! Are other critters involved, as well? I want to know!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed quite a lot.

Any additional comments?

Michaelbrent Collings is turning into one of my favorite authors. I think he has a real talent for bringing his books to life. They are palpable in all respects.
