Story
Barriers is book three in the Anderson: Special Ops series written by Melody Anne and John Henley that continues the journey of former military men now working to purge Seattle and her surrounding areas of drugs and crime - which is no easy feat. We’ve all watched as two of the team members have busted the bad guys while also managing to fall in love. Now it’s Green’s turn to step up to the table.

Don't miss this Anderson Special Ops series

The narrators did well with all the voices. The story catches your attention and keeps it. I've enjoyed all the Anderson series so far, but this group of men is something special.

This is a great listen. If you have read any of the Belador series you maybe be familiar with Deagon, but getting to hear the stories behind him is fantastic. Love the scenes with Triston and Sin also. Stephen Thorne does a good job with the voices. I will definitely be listening to the rest of this series.

Story
Mitch Rapp is used to winning. But in this follow-up to number-one New York Times best-selling The Survivor, the CIA operative finds himself chasing false leads from continent to continent in an effort to keep Pakistani nukes from falling into the hands of terrorists. Together with friend and colleague Scott Coleman, Rapp struggles to prevent the loss of these lethal weapons, particularly because Russia is also interested in the nukes, though not for the same reason as Rapp and Coleman.

George Guidull has a great voice. Almost as good as Frank Muller. I feel like the old Mitch Rapp would have handled a few things differently. But you make up your own mind. Still a book Worth reading.

Story
John Smith has a special gift that seems more like a curse: He can access other people's thoughts. He hears the songs stuck in their heads, their most private traumas and fears, the painful memories they can't let go. The CIA honed his skills until he was one of their most powerful operatives, but Smith fled the agency and now works as a private consultant, trying to keep the dark potential of his gift in check - and himself out of trouble.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, story is well paced and Narrator reads the story quite well.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Bronco Adams. The character is written with human flaws, he's not totally invincible. He knows he should not be attracted to Rebecca because she not only married, but married to his commander. When Rebecca's life is threaten he puts himself in danger to protect her. He wants to bring justice to those who are after power, control and money.
Any additional comments?
In this story you know from the start who the bad guys are but Marliss Melton keeps the story moving at a good pace with turns that keep you listening until the end. She also makes you want to hear Bullfrog's story next!

Story
She was gone. Joe Pickett had good reason to dislike Dallas Cates, even if he was a rodeo champion, and now he has even more: Joe's 18-year-old ward, April, has run off with him. And then comes even worse news: The body of a girl has been found in a ditch along the highway - alive but just barely, the victim of blunt-force trauma.
