I cannot rave this book highly enough. Becky's friendly, familiar writing style draws the listener in to her heartfelt message. With so many, "Self-helpy," religious books on the market, this piece full of scripture references, full contextual explanations, and genuine emotion is authentic in the truest sense. Becky's heart for showing the reader about the true heart of God and his Holy Spirit within each of us is so uplifting, realistic, relatable, and spirit-led.

beautiful story of loss and learning to love, but OH MY, is that narrator hard to listen to. she sounds like a very heavy, groveling voice who smokes a pack of cigarettes a day, and sits so close to the mic you can hear every swallow and tongue movement.

I've been homeschooling for 10 years. I was also a teacher before having kids. This book has a good heart with plenty of tidbits to glean and tuck into your homeschool lifestyle as you see fit, but also a lot of wildly outlandish, impractical bits as well. Don't consume this one thinking it's a homeschool wisdom gospel. It has great parts- particularly the last section- but a lot of nonsense, too.

this book was truly amazing. it reframed my concept of "lamenting" hurts and traumas, and helped me work through so many real life struggles.

this book was incredible. the modern education system reduces Booker t. Washington to nothing but a scientist who discovered uses for the peanut and sweet potato. this book shows he was so much more, and his legacy screams in every day Life of most Americans today.
