Was ok, but i could see through some of the opinions.

This book is worth the read, but some of it should be taken with a grain of salt. I found myself rolling my eyes at some of the progressive, out of touch opinions peppered about. Still, there is plenty of knowledge to be gained and learned.

Story
In 2011, a 26-year-old libertarian programmer named Ross Ulbricht launched the ultimate free market: the Silk Road, a clandestine website hosted on the Dark Web where anyone could trade anything - drugs, hacking software, forged passports, counterfeit cash, poisons - free of the government's watchful eye. It wasn't long before the media got wind of the new website where anyone - not just teenagers and weed dealers but terrorists and black hat hackers - could buy and sell contraband detection-free.

Good read, but screw a tyrannical government. Drugs, not so good either. The US government can't let anyone step on their toes, God forbid there is someone not paying taxes. Dont do drugs, bad ideas, poor choice. Buy.. It's YOUR choice. (Dont put hits out on people either. That's wrong, too)

Story
Sean Spicer has a unique perspective on the methods used by the left to shut down conservative voices. He's been parodied on SNL, ripped apart on the nightly news, and protested on college campuses, all for doing his job. Outside of the left's bubble, however, he's been able to transition from politics to entertainment very well, and he's got huge numbers of supporters. In Leading America, he writes about all the ways President Trump has fought back against the left, and examines all the ways conservatives can take a stand to uphold their rights and values.

Story
Dale Maharidge’s father, like many World War II veterans, never talked about “the good war”. There was just one clue to his dad’s experience as a US Marine - a portrait with a close friend that hung permanently in their home. In The Dead Drink First, Dale, now a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, recounts his 18-year quest to find and repatriate the missing remains of his dad’s buddy, Herman Walter Mulligan, 73 years after he was killed in action.

Story
Four days before Christmas in 1943, a badly damaged American bomber struggled to fly over wartime Germany. At its controls was a 21-year-old pilot. Half his crew lay wounded or dead. It was their first mission. Suddenly a sleek, dark shape pulled up on the bomber’s tail - a German Messerschmitt fighter. Worse, the German pilot was an ace, a man able to destroy the American bomber with the squeeze of a trigger.

Story
Peggy Rowe’s story of growing up as the daughter of Thelma Knobel is filled with warmth and humor. But Thelma could be your mother. She's the person taking charge - the one who knows instinctively how things should be. They clashed from the beginning - Peggy, the horse-crazy tomboy, and Thelma, the genteel-yet-still-controlling mother. When major league baseball came to town in the early 1950s and turned sophisticated Thelma into a crazed Baltimore Orioles groupie, nobody was more surprised and embarrassed than Peggy.
