I tried on several different occasions to listen to this audiobook. Most of the times I’ve tried to listen, it put me to sleep. The person who reads the audiobook is so monotonous that it’s boring. I’ve heard children reading better and with more emotion than this man did.

I’d never heard of this case until I saw this come up, it keeps you on the edge of your seat; however, I couldn’t stop crying halfway through this book, the author does an amazing job at telling the stories of Faith and Liberty, as well as Michelle and Mary Jean. Colleen Marlo did a great job narrating this book and showed so much emotion when reading it

As a healthcare worker, this book made me realize it’s time to take a step back and listen not only to my patients, but to their stories. Hearing the way Hadley not only showed compassion, but also her story was phenomenal.

Anyone considering donor conception needs to listen

As a donor conceived person, this book brings up great aspects regarding the fertility industry. It’s unfortunate to say, but the fertility industry itself does not care about the babies it produces, it cares about the money it brings in making donor conceived people. Hearing about how the donor code was destroyed was shocking, and an unfortunate reality. The cryobank where my biological parent had donated too was bought out by a larger cryobank, and destroyed ALL records of my donor, their health history, and potential siblings that came from their donation.

I loved this book, hearing the author read her own writing was a wonderful experience. The only thing I didn’t like was the ending.

Describes Donor Conceived and MPElife

I loved this book, it goes into detail about how a donor conceived person and those with misattributed parentage feel. It discusses in depth about how someone may feel given their parental history, or finding out about MPE through DNA testing.

As a donor conceived person, I thought that this book brought out representations of those who are also donor conceived (but not all of course).
