Story
After years of trying to become pregnant without success, Rachel Dawson and her husband, Thomas, felt their dreams had finally come true the day they brought home their newly adopted twin babies. Though the lawyer Baron Bell who arranged for the surrogate mother charged a hefty six-figure fee, one glance into the eyes of their precious children told them it was all worth it - until the birth mother reappeared, first demanding more money, then the twins themselves.

Reviewed: 11-13-24
Loved the story especially since it was a Christmas story The ladies get justice for parents whose babies were conceived with the help of surrogacy- who know with the greedy lawyers take them back and sell them. Naturally when this is brought to the sisterhood’s attention. A plan is hatched to get the babies back into the original parents arms and hand out justice.. Enjoyed the narration. Love the way this series is not only available to read in kindle unlimited and now am enjoying the ability to listen to the tale being read for free. HOWEVER only 4 stars because — after the book is finished there are PREVIEWS OF RECOMMENDATIONS read! Which I don’t want to hear

I listen to audio books when I’m exercising or bedtime till I fall asleep- I used to be able to hit the button on my headset and start the audiobook over again that’s no longer possible so I COMPLAINED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE who had no idea of what I was complaining about . Liked the first blue Moon Investigations so much- I grabbed this as soon it was available. Once again Tempest,Big Ben,Amanda,Jane are solving cases that appear to have a supernatural taint. Once again with the help of some of the others in Tempest orbit ie, Frank,Poison, his parents,Hilary,Jagjit his wife Alice the suspenseful dangerous cases are solved . The tales are read by Charles Robert Fox who once again enthralled me. Looking forward forward to more story bundles by Steve Higgs

I received this audiobook as a gift. That said it was great. I listen to audiobooks when I workout and the narrators voice was so expressive I could easily visualize the world I’d Adrian West lives in. I felt like I joined her crew in searching for Cleopatra tomb. I enjoyed this tale so much I wanted to get the next one in the series alas it’s not out yet- so I got the book Excalibur Deception.

This tale tells us all about Anastasia the heroine of the. ROFG ( realm of false Gods) Once again Steve Higgs has added a new story to his saga- that is so descriptive we feel we are there or have seen it on the Telly. The narrator immediately involves and, draws us into the story about Anastasia and weaves her into the evolving world when the curse breaks. Seriously the writing is brilliant- the narrator pulls us in and keeps our interest. Makes gym workouts or long drives more enjoyable 5 stars

What made the experience of listening to Somebody Tell Aunt Tillie We're in Trouble! the most enjoyable?
I really liked the narrators voice-- for some reason i just literally fell into the story as though i entered it
What was one of the most memorable moments of Somebody Tell Aunt Tillie We're in Trouble!?
wow- so many thinking maybe all the snarky banter between gus and mara about performing magic and then hmm maybe with paul - trying to find out if he is really the daddy- then wow lucien appearance- can/t pick just one
Which character – as performed by Barbara Benjamin-Creel – was your favorite?
mara-- though aunt tillie a very close second
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
moved me know- but laughed a lot-- throughout the telling and loved the addition of the dobie puppies
Any additional comments?
this is the second audio i have listened too about aunt tillie- have read 2 of the books also- will prob listen to the next if i am am lucky enough to get it-- but i have to admit i like this narrator better- her voice for whatever reason was easier for me to follow
