Great new protagonist

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes
What other book might you compare Gone to and why?
Any of his Doc Ford novels
What aspect of Renee Raudman’s performance would you have changed?
With the main voice being that of Hanna Smith, a SW Fla born and bread woman and fishing guide, she would have a more country / cracker accent.
Any additional comments?
Like the new protagonist and the ties to the past novels of Randy's. Hope he keeps it up.

Would you consider the audio edition of A Purple Place for Dying to be better than the print version?
In some ways the audio version is better. Great way to pass the time on long drives, workouts or downtime when reading a book doesn't work well.
What other book might you compare A Purple Place for Dying to and why?
All of the other

Great story, can't stand the narrator!
Reviewed: 04-09-12
Would you listen to Silencer again? Why?
Yes because the narration was very poorly done. Have to continually go back and pick up details. See note below.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Narrator's voice wore me slick! Almost irritating. No ability to inflect his voice to differietiate between characters. Made it hard to follow.
Any additional comments?
I would not purchase any other books by this narrator.
