Finally enjoying some downtime in Santa Fe, Stone Barrington agrees to attend an art exhibit with a dear friend. There, he encounters an intriguing woman who is on the trail of a ring of art thieves. Always one to please, Stone offers his help. From Santa Fe to Los Angeles, it quickly becomes clear that her investigation has links to Stone—particularly to rare Matilda Stone art, his mother’s paintings. Mickey Gibson, single mother and former detective, leads a hectic life similar to that of many moms: juggling the demands of her two small children with the tasks of her job working remotely for ProEye, a global investigation company that hunts down wealthy tax and credit cheats. Another new character for Baldacci to grow

I enjoyed the book as I usually do with his works. However for the first time I had a lot of trouble distinguishing the females especially Mickey and Clarice when they were talking to each other and even alone separately.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Story kept moving forward at an excellent pace. No sex was an added bonus. Also happy all loose ends were tied up.
As always Tony did an excellent narration.
Highly recommended for Stuart Woods fans.

Story
Over the last 40 years, Stuart Woods has written more than 90 novels of suspense and intrigue, beginning with the award-winning Chiefs. Featuring iconic crime-fighting and jet-setting leads, the plots are masterfully conceived and wonderfully escapist. What many readers and listeners don’t know is that Woods' very own life was filled with similar stories of adventure.

Only if you sail
Reviewed: 10-16-22
I was very disappointed in this book. Too many sailing details and way too many names of people. Who knows them and who cares.
And I found the beginning of the book confusing. Perhaps a genealogy tree might help.
The one thing I did learn is where Stone Barrington got his love of houses and planes.
