Story had potential but FMC was tough to like

This story line had tons of potential but for me it lacked good character connections and growth. It felt a bit juvenile throughout and more like a YA but with sex scenes but the sex scenes that had no build up and lacked any spark or connection of characters. I think this partially has to do with the FMC personality. Isolde was honestly one of my least liked FMC. She was immature, selfish, entitled, whiney and frankly just super hard to like and connect with on almost all levels. I thought maybe there would be some character growth but nope.

Also the narrator voice for the guy at the end was a No for me. It just did not fit IMO

Picked because of high ratings but….

I picked this book because of the high ratings and the book itself was good but I had a REALLY hard time liking the FMC. She honestly drove me crazy and was kind of a b@&$h. I just did not like her attitude and had a hard time getting past it.

All around great story

Just an all around great story and writing and the narrators made it come alive. I felt all the emotions…I cried, I laughed, I became frustrated and happy. The author has a way of making you connect and feel everything.

Ehh…Surprisingly had a hard time with this one

So let me start off by saying I am a HUGE fan of TLSwan and have loved most all of her books however this book in particular which I was really looking forward to just didn’t do it for me. I feel like Seb’s character that was portrayed in the other series and the character portrayed in Mr. Garcia were completely different people and I had hard time liking his character in this book. As for April, we’ll maybe it’s just me but her character absolutely drove me crazy and definitely my least favorite LFC of all the series. I felt like for someone of 25 and then 31 she was extremely immature, lacked growth and had the personality of a rock. She just had a strange personality that I had a hard time connecting to. She went to deep to fast honestly. For a female character to have these self proclaimed high morals and was completely against working at the gentlemen’s club to immediately doing what she was so against just made her seem like her thinking and actions were just one big contradiction. Hers and Sebs relationship just seemed like it was always in turmoil and lacking growth.
The Male narrator was great and the female narrator has been great in other books but for some reason didn’t care for her as much in this book, maybe it was because of the character itself but just seemed monotone, breathy and lacked personality. I like a character and narrator that makes it seem real and puts personality into it like Brielle in Mr.Masters who was absolutely relatable and perfect.

I absolutely loved this story! There was multiple times in this book where I could not stop laughing. The humor was, the character and the narrators were excellent. The author is so good at character development and making you feel as if you know them.

Kind of corny and short

Confused….Great potential however somewhat disappointing

This book had a great story line and the narrator’s did an excellent job however just when the build up was starting to get somewhere really good the book abruptly ended and ended in a really confusing way. I mean what was the point..? Is there a sequel or book 2? I’m so confused.

Loved it!

I loved the chemistry and humor of the two main characters and the narrators were great as well. There were only a few parts in the storyline where I felt went down a path in which I wouldn’t have taken it to but that’s just me.
All in all I really enjoyed listening!!

From the writing to the story line to the characters to the narrator, this book was great!
There have been so many times where I bought a book with one of my credits and regretted it but to me this book was most definitely worth it.
