Story
Clark Griswold was onto something...at least with his annual holiday meltdown. And since the last three weeks of my life have been riddled with humbug—another breakup, a broken toe, an office promotion I deserved and didn’t get—I’m not at all in the mood to celebrate nor have the happ, happ, happiest Christmas EVER.

well, I did enjoy the book but the very graphic sex scenes to me took away from the story. I actually attempted to fast forward through them so that it wouldn't be ruining my experience. I've never been the type that is interested in porn soft or not. I don't read romance novels. I believe this book could have stood alone by itself without the sex scenes. my opinion

Story
Her beauty almost certainly saved her from the rising Nazi party and led to marriage with an Austrian arms dealer. Underestimated in everything else, she overheard the Third Reich's plans while at her husband's side, understanding more than anyone would guess. She devised a plan to flee in disguise from their castle, and the whirlwind escape landed her in Hollywood. She became Hedy Lamarr, screen star.

this book was a complete eye opener. You just meet a woman from Austria before the war. You end up thinking that you need to rethink how you look at how you look at people. The different personas that each person has and the fact that people get pinholed into one. It is a great women empowerment book!

Story
For years, rumors of the "Marsh Girl" have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast. So in late 1969, when handsome Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say. Sensitive and intelligent, she has survived for years alone in the marsh that she calls home, finding friends in the gulls and lessons in the sand.

I enjoyed this book so much! Listen most of the time in the car and found myself finding trips to take just so that I could listen. The author planted beautiful pictures of Marsh life and the struggles of a little girl.
