Story
For the last year, I’ve wanted someone I can’t have. The man my father built his latest multimillion-dollar business with. He’s nearly a decade older than I am, and he’s entirely forbidden. The fact that he’s never given me a second glance only makes me long for him more.

Amazing romance

This is perfect when I needed a break from fiction and to get whisked away in a great story. Love how courageous she is and goes after what she wants. Enjoyed and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Story
COVID-19 was used to launch the worst tyranny in American history, which we’re still facing even now. It was also the worst oppression in global history since the Third Reich. Just as that evil required a reckoning at Nuremberg, this one does as well. In this Nuremberg 2.0, we call witnesses that our elected representatives and law enforcement agents need to hear from in order to know the full extent of the evil and who is responsible for it—so that this never happens again.

Story
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Required reading in my household!!!

Wow! I personally wish everyone could read/listen this book. So many events took me back to my own childhood, and I love the courage it took for the adventure and risk he allowed himself.
The quote,”No one is born equal and fair, but everyone should have equal opportunity!” made me respect him even more.
You don’t know me but please keep telling stories, your stories, keep encouraging the underdog, love your family and keep learning.
Thank you for this book.

I Know You Don’t Read Reviews Rachel, But Just In Case You Read This One: THANK YOU!
Reviewed: 06-24-19
This book felt like Rachel pulled back the curtain to my own life and then she wrote about it. God has been putting the right voices in my life to help me be courageous and step into the calling He placed on my life, and to do it without apologizing. To embrace my life and call out the lies holding me back to do so. This is must read for anyone and I will be having my daughter listen to it as well so she has the preparation to head into her teen years. Can’t wait for the next one Rachel!

Read Before You Start a Business or If You’ve “Lost” the Reason You Get Up in the Morning
Reviewed: 05-25-19
As a business owner and lover of professional development, this book spoke to me deeply and solidified that how I’m thinking about growing and scaling the business is correct. I’m not “weird” that I have these gut feelings and callings, or that I view competition as myself and not other companies. It’s normal to feel alone during the first few years.
This book allowed me to articulate the why behind a business that will be one year old June 1, 2019. It will help me to not be afraid of all the growth and that if we hold onto the why, people will always follow.
