Story
Once upon a time there was a version of our faith that was practically...irresistible. But that was then. Today we preach, teach, write, and communicate as if nothing has changed. As if “The Bible says it” still settles it. It’s time to hit pause on much of what we’re doing and consider the faith modeled by our first-century brothers and sisters who had no official Bible, no status, and humanly speaking, little chance of survival. What did they know that we don’t? What made their faith so compelling, so defensible, so irresistible? Buckle up...you’re about to find out.

Very well read and good perspective on the Bible.

The author/narrative did a good job on the reading. This was an eye-opening and very good perspective on how we should view the Bible as not our source of faith but the product of it. I love how he hits on the points that we are no longer under the law but under grace. It was very refreshing.

Very Good Quality Information

Just the kind of information I was looking for. I felt like I was getting a personal one on one instructional lesson on what to look for in body language and it was explained in a way that I could easily understand. Things were explained in personal examples and with a philosophy that made excellent sense. I strongly recommend this audio and you will not be disappointed.

Story
Nothing is easier to manipulate than the human mind. Have you ever found yourself doing things that you had no idea how or why did you accept to do? Have you ever felt like someone is lying to you, but just couldn't tell exactly what is the lie? Dark psychology has been kept in secret for years. It is too powerful to let everybody know about it - and use it in their selfish advantage. But now, the secrets are exposed, and you can learn exactly how you've been manipulated in the past - and how you can protect yourself from (or even use) the exact same techniques.

Easy to follow with good information

An easier listening versus other like minded audio books. Although there are a little bit too long of a pause in between sentences that seem unnecessary.

I'm not the most edumacated man but I had to break out the ol trusty thesaurus on this one. Not only was the audio reading so dry and monotone but you had to have more than an average sense of vocabulary to understand what in-tar-nation he was talking about at times. The first few chapters were just general information on common sense things. The real meat of it was the last three or four chapters of the book. I had trouble staying awake through most of it and had to double back because I was falling asleep. Just ok information, nothing to get excited about. I'll be looking for another book on this to get some good research info. I do not recommend.
