Story
John Charles Ryle’s best known works have been reissued and widely read over many years. The fine qualities of his writings have ensured that his books are still popular and useful. This volume has become a classic work and is known and loved by many throughout the world. In days when evangelical preachers are accused of being either superficial or dull, we have here a great example of one who was neither of these things. As Bishop Ryle applies his texts, the listener will find his soul examined.

Biblical Holiness
Reviewed: 11-16-23
Biblical holiness as only the incomparable and God loving Ryle could convey. Beautifully written, honoring the Lord Jesus above all. Convicting, admonishing & God fearing exposition in numerous sermons by a very honorable man. Read & reread often!

Story
Under the leadership of her fearless skipper, Captain Gene Fluckey, the Barb sank the greatest tonnage of any American sub in World War II. At the same time, the Barb did far more than merely sink ships-she changed forever the way submarines stalk and kill their prey.
This is a gripping adventure chock-full of "you-are-there" moments. Fluckey has drawn on logs, reports, letters, interviews, and a recently discovered illegal diary kept by one of his torpedomen.

navigation issues
Reviewed: 12-28-20
menu is 1189 chapters long. without a break. better navigation and something other than a chapter number would be an improvement. hyper link on mobile version to each NAMED book and chapter. psalm 119 (& John 6, Luke 9...) is a reason to include verse links if possible.
