Continuing excellence.

I found this series on Amazon when there was just one book. I loved everything about it. I have been an avid fan since. Ms. Reid writes a riveting yet believable paranormal story. There is some suspension of disbelief necessary yet not so much we have to enter another world of make believe. She is descriptive but not nauseatingly gory. I love the romantic but clean element that weaves through each story. I eagerly await each new book and someday hope to have the whole series of books in my library, not just the kindle or audible editions. I do hope Mary continues her work.

I purchased this book intending to listen to it one story at a time. It didn't happen that way. The stories, although written by different authors, flowed well one into another. Distinct and individual yet holding onto themes of forgiveness and learning to accept grace and mercy. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend it at all times of the year not just Christmas!

Story
San Francisco millionaire Andrew Stirling wants to sell his Victorian mansion, but ghostly music, the squeaking of a long-disappeared weathervane, and an angry ghost keep running off potential buyers. So contractor Mel Turner is engaged to track down and replace some of the original features of the house.

Love this series

Give Up The Ghost kept me captive to the end. The storyline was interesting and the ending not too obvious. Xe Sands is an excellent narrator and has an interesting voice.
Halfway through the book, I realized I have read another book in the series and am looking forward to refreshing my memory of that book and reading the remaining others. I'll try to do it in order though this was fine as a stand-alone mystery.
