Story
The Bible tells a story. The events of the Bible are exciting and awe inspiring, but often the story can get lost among the laws, genealogies, and poetry. Here, Dr. William Marty retells the entire story of the Bible in one accessible, chronological account. All the stories you remember, and many of those you don't, are part of one grand narrative. It's the must-listen story of God's pursuit of you - one you'll want to hear again and again.

This is by far the most interesting book I have ever read. I have been listening to and reading lots of self-improvement material for a while and this book really should have been the first book on my list of great book I have digested. I could have saved myself hours developing new skills if I had this book years ago. Its not too late. Now I can use the focus, memory, study, speed reading, and thinking techniques taught by my brain mentor to learn more and earn more knowledge. With this new found knowledge I feel limitless. There are tons of books I'm going to read. I applaud Jim Kwik and his team for this extraordinary book - Limitless.

Story
In Mitochondria and the Future of Medicine, naturopathic doctor Lee Know tells the epic story of mitochondria - the widely misunderstood and often-overlooked powerhouses of our cells. The legendary saga began over two billion years ago, when one bacterium entered another without being digested, which would evolve to create the first mitochondrion. Since then, for life to exist beyond single-celled bacteria, it's the mitochondria that have been responsible for this life-giving energy.

Working with thousands of patients, Dr. Gundry has discovered that the “diseases of aging” we most fear are not simply a function of age; rather, they are a byproduct of the way we have lived over the decades. In The Longevity Paradox, he maps out a new approach to aging well - one that is based on supporting the health of the “oldest” parts of us: the microorganisms that live within our bodies.
