I really enjoyed all the characters (even those I loved to hate). The narrator, truly made the book for me. Each character had their own voice., and the accents were fantastic. Very well done!

The repetition in this book made me a little crazy. I think the storyline held promise, but the way the main character whined or praised things (over and over and over and over...) got on my nerves!

I really enjoyed this book. Even the "villans" in the story were not so bad that you had to "fear" them, and the romance was steady and sweet. I am a big literary "chicken," so this book was safe and enjoyable!

Would you consider the audio edition of Mr Darcy's Dream to be better than the print version?

I have read several

What did you like best about this story?

The purity of the romance and the likeness of the characters to those that we loved in P&P.

What does Phyllida Nash bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She is a perfect narrator...I love her presentation of G. Heyer's books and found these stories following her works as narrator.

You will learn a lot...

I'm sure that as a "teaching tool," this book deserves 5 stars. It is truly not entertaining though. I love Georgette Heyer's novels and I hoped that this was a story...perhaps I didn't read the description well enough. It is a very detailed lesson about the culture, fashion, customs, etc. of the Regency period.

If you are looking to verify the accuracy of Heyer's stories...this should do it ; )
