Does a great job of explaining the history, philosophy, and methods of DBT. Follows Marsha Linehan’s “DBT Skills Training Manual” quite nicely.

This is much more than Jack Donovan’s 4th book. If you’ve read his previous works, this book builds synergistically off them.

Though not holding the title of psychologist, I’d argue that Mr. Donovan understands the male psyche much deeper than many in the field. And he illustrates it well with 3 deep, yet easily understood, masculine archetypes: The Father, The Striker, and The Lord of the Earth.

As you read this book, you will know you yourself more deeply and you will understand other men and the world around you on a deeper level. Not only will you know your self better, but you will want to broaden and expand your self.

A must read for men, wouldn't be bad for women either. If you're curious about masculinity, I highly recommend this book. If you think you know everything there is to know about masculinity, I think this book would be a great litmus test of your knowledge. If you have come to the conclusion that masculinity is toxic, this book might change your mind.
