Story
Booklist called them "two of the unlikeliest but most likable amateur detectives in crime fiction." The Chicago Tribune describes them as "colorful... lunatic... like a twister.". They're Hap Collins and Leonard Pine, and if you've been reading Joe R. Lansdale's Hap & Leonard novels like Mucho Mojo, The Two-Bear Mambo, and Rumble Tumble, then this is the treat you've been waiting for.

JURASSIC STORY!!!
Reviewed: 06-02-15
What made the experience of listening to Jurassic Park the most enjoyable?
the narrator, Scott Brick, made listening the MOST entertaining experience. He made each character's voice unique.
What did you like best about this story?
The idea of the story. The thought of capturing DNA from the mosquitoes trapped in the amber as a possibility is very intriguing.
What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?
His voice was so emotional. He was very skillful and smoothly went from urgency for one character to whining for another, and thoughtful for another.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
The book was too long to listen to in one sitting, but I listened to it continuously for 2 days. I couldn't wait to get to the end.

Story
Chett and Harry are two recently unemployed construction workers on their way to a weekend of beer, Southern Comfort, and frog gigging at their musty-rusted 1970s RV, parked at their favorite hunting camp, when they stumble on Bob, the mysterious, busty, burqa-clad, non-English speaking beauty just standing in the middle of nowhere on the side of dusty Nine Mile Cutoff in rural Bovina, Mississippi.

Not your average zombie/alien book! Hilarious!

Would you consider the audio edition of Fried Green Zombies to be better than the print version?
Yes. The author did a great job doing the different character voices.
What did you like best about this story?
The dry humor. Unfortunately, I know people similiar to the characters in the story and it (the characterizatio) was dead on.
Have you listened to any of John Allen’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, but I can't wait for the next story.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
no
Any additional comments?
This wasn't your average zombie/alien book. At first, I didn't think I would like it. I fell asleep listening and woke up laughing, so I started it over and it was just too funny. The author broke away from the
