This is an audio of a novella. It's a cute little love story without any big plot. Due to being so short, novellas are harder to write than novels and I think the author did a great job. The characters are well developed and some English/Scottish history is included as well. I am curious now how the next book, a novel, will turn out. The narrator did an excellent job with this story.

OMG! I thought the first book in the series (The Vampire's Temptation) was hot with swoon-worthy Kenton. This book which features Lawrence is as panty-melting. Though Lawrence is the opposite of Kenton, you can't help but fall in love with him as well. He is so sweet and romantic but also very dangerous to his enemies. I thoroughly enjoyed his story. I cried for him and I cheered for him. And I can't wait for the next book in the series. Especially now that there is a mystery added. #TeamKenton and #TeamLawrence! And, as always, James Cavenaugh did a great job narrating!

This is the first book in a brand new vampire series. And it's refreshingly different from other series. There is a new spin to an old favorite. How about vampires walking in the sun? How about a villain who is also a hero? Want to know more? You better listen to the book! I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can't wait to find out where Ms. Mecca will take us. I do know that the stories will be great and the characters interesting and the vampires swoon-worthy. And talking about swoon-worthy - listen to James Cavenaugh's voice!

Another great mystery with another surprise villain whose motives I honestly didn't quite understand. But that didn't keep me from enjoying the book. I loved sweet Gabriel who doesn't believe in love and family and Rebecca who is so stubborn, so independent, and yet at times so naive. Their partnership is what made the story great. And, as always, Kylie Stewart did a great job narrating.

An easy to listen to romantic book with a plot with a few twists. I love the heroine because she is smart and determent and she never waivers unlike those in some other books who seem smart and then make stupid mistakes. There is a lot of witty dialogue in the book that made me laugh out loud. I read the book in one setting a long time ago. Listening to it now was so much fun. I highly recommend it.

A well-written regency romance with everything a reader/listener expects from this kind of novel. We got the hero who feels honor-bound to protect a lady even if she doesn't want him to. We got a lady who defies propriety and prefers breeches over dresses. The villain is nasty and unpredictable. There are a kidnapping and an unwilling madame. And, of course, we get a HEA. All around a pleasant story. And the narrator did it great justice.

I don't understand where those low ratings are coming from. I read the story some time ago and just now listened to the audio. The story is absolutely wonderful. The characters are well developed with a sizzling attraction to each other. Don't let those anonymous trolls keep you from listening to this great story! Give it a try. You won't regret it.

And he is not the only one. This is another great book with a lot of mystery and many twists and turns. It's fast-paced and kept me enthralled 'til the very end. And what an ending it was! Be prepared for a big showdown on a foggy bridge. I love the author's imagination! You think you know who the villain is? Think again. Thank you for the wonderful journey you took us on, Ms. Clee. I just wish there were more books in this series. And let's not forget Liisa Ivary. Her narration is always great.

I absolutely love this book! The mystery is well thought out with just enough twists and turns to keep the reader interested. It's fast-paced and has some surprising revelations. The moment you think you got it all figured out you are thrown for a loop. I love this kind of mystery. I also love all the characters; old and new. If you like a love story with a good mystery, this one is for you! And, as always, Liisa has done a great job narrating.

I knew when I got my hands on this book that it would be another winner. Ms. Clee has never disappointed me. This book, just like all the others she wrote, is full of exciting characters and a mystery with a lot of twists and turns. Whenever I thought I had it all figured out I was thrown another curveball. The story kept me enthralled until the very end. This book is not to be missed! And the narrator Liisa Ivary did another fine job reading it.
