There is a dark side to human nature that can be neither wished away nor completely mitigated. Riddle me this...

Question:
How does a renowned writer/editor inspire a group of known authors to create a complete story from a single word?
Answer:
I haven't a clue and neither does Mr. Deaver.
It's a bunch of ill-conceived, overthought and underwritten groups of words amplified by a half spoken/half-act group of performances.

Clearly the poison apple fallen from a man-eating tree but make no mistake: Mr. Hill is his own apple.
I am a Constant Reader and I have been thinking about you since you were a kid. Sorry, that sounds creepy. I meant it to be Wicked Creepy. I wondered what sort of mayhem you'd raise from the madness. When I learned you were writing I wondered which words you would call your own.
Mr. Hill, this book was fantastic. Oh, and you STILL look scared when you sleep.

Absolutely some of the creepiest stuff I've ever heard.
My Husband's Hands? Thought about it all day. That one with the survey? Holy Shot!
It's not blood and guts horror. None of that vampire crap either. It's cerebral and imaginative.
Sure, there were 1 or 2 stories that were less than the others... get over it. If you don't like the intros... There's a button for that.
Just... wow.

What happened to the words, plots, voices and editing to which we have become accustomed? The only things that got me to the end were hope and determination.
