Nice Sequel

Overall
4 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 09-05-08

Nice Sequel to Creepers without "cheating" Nothing worse then a sequal that uses cheap tricks, but this sequal actual stands alone from Creepers as a seperate story that happens to involve the same main characters.

Creepers is a good story with some nice twist and turns. Just creepy enough to keep hard core horror readers interested but not much gore for the squeemish.

No Relic

Overall
1 out of 5 stars

Reviewed: 09-05-08

The Ruins has been compared to Preston and Child's The Relic but I don't know why. This was one BORING story. The "build up" just went on entirly too long. Like a good scary read with monsters, mystery and a good plot?- skip The Ruins and run to The Relic or any of the books by Douglas Preston and Lincol Child.

Odd but Loveable

Overall
5 out of 5 stars

This latest book in the life of Odd Thomas is as entertaining as the last two.
You have to fall in love with a man this sweet and unassuming, even if he keeps finding himself in very bad places. Who knew a monestary could be so deadly??
