Story
Genevieve Buchanan inherited a castle—and a ghost to go along with it. But Kendrick de Piaget was no typical ghost. He was a handsome and infuriatingly arrogant 13th-century knight. At first, he wanted to frighten Genevieve, though she was more charmed than scared by his ghostly tricks. But when his thoughts turned to wooing her instead, Genevieve had to face her greatest fear: falling in love.

One of my favorite audio books.

I’ve listened to this book at least three times. This is one of my favorite stories of the
de Piaget family. Ilyana Kadushin is a perfect narrator for Lynn Kurland’s books.
The only negative thing I have to say is that there needs to be more audio books from this and the McLeod series.

I have listened and read KLV’s books over and over. She draws you in to a world of chivalry, treachery and finally love. I’ve even managed to get my husband to listen to some of her books on long drives! This is the first that I listened to with Tristan Hunt narrating and think is now my favorite. A great story and a great narrator.

One of her best!

I’ve read this book once and listened to it twice. Even my husband enjoyed listening to the audible version. The only thing I wish is that there was a book about Tevin Hage, the son of Kieran and Rory Hage. At the end it gives you some information about him and he sounds like he would be such a interesting character. Maybe some day....

Story
1200 AD - In the time following the death of Richard the Lionheart and the ascension of his brother, John, to the throne of England, a plot against the new king is hatched from an unexpected place - deep within the bowels of The Lateran Palace in Rome. It is rumored that the Pope himself is behind it. It is a plot so dark, and so dastardly, that William Marshal needs men who specialize in dark and dirty games in order to save a king they all hate, yet a king that England desperately needs.

I have read this already and thought I’d listen to it on audible while sewing but I just could enjoy the narrator. I put this on my list to read again and downloaded the second book in this series. It has a different narrator that I like very much.

Lynn Kurland is one of my favorite authors. Her stories are romantic and fun. I wish that more of her books were audibles. Ilyana Kadushin was a excellent narrator and I hope to listen to more of narrations.

I’ve read the De Piaget’s and Macleod’s series twice. I thought this audible book about Robin De Piaget was as always really good. Ilya a Kadushinis probably one of the best narrators I’ve listened to. The only reason I gave it four stars in overall because the narration seemed a little slow. Now, if Lynn Kurland would just write some more about these wonderful families.
