I struggled with this book. I think Knoah and Garrick had a lot more potential. I get that people have bad stuff happen, but geeze! I wish there had been a dual point of view. Garrick was kind of a cardboard cutout. yeah, he did stuff, but the motivation was always the same. Love Knoah, protect Knoah. The dude is a self-made billionaire for Pete's sake! Knoah with her constant backslide into misery over and over and over and ov...ad nauseum. I rolled my eyes a LOT! I really wanted her to grow up and well grow a set of anything!
