The acting in this was incredible. You felt like you were right alongside Mary Jane. Only regret is that there were a few more “chapters.”

I couldn’t put it down. I just loved learning more about her life. The level of detail was just phenomenal.

Listened to the first book last year and loved the characters, This is just as good as the ladies are back 4 years later.

Incredible narrator. Even had the Midwest accent to go along with the book set in Wisconsin.
Wonderful tale of coming of age but with a few dragons. I didn’t want it to end.

The story was decent. The narration was horrible. Way too light and airy. The voice of the daughter was too young for the character. Deep topics and really flowery voices.

This book reads more like a memoir than a novel. Ms. Kingsolver develops characters beautifully.
