Story
It's the most dangerous case of Will Trent's career. He knows this from the moment he sets foot in the abandoned Atlanta warehouse where a body lies on the floor—the body of an ex-cop. Bloody footprints leading away from the scene reveal that another victim, evidently a woman, was carried away and has vanished into thin air. And, worst of all, the warehouse belongs to the city's biggest and most high-profile athlete—a local hero protected by the world's most expensive lawyers.

A Dark, Gripping Masterpiece
Reviewed: 01-31-25
Triptych is a hauntingly powerful read that pulls you in from the very first page. It’s disturbing yet emotionally compelling, making it impossible to put down. You cheer and cry for John, whose resilience and pain are equally heartbreaking. Michael’s actions are horrifying, yet you can’t look away. And the jagged, broken love between Will and Angie is both tragic and painfully real. The story twists and turns in ways that leave you breathless, balancing raw emotion with chilling suspense. A must-read for anyone who loves dark, intricate thrillers.

A Phenomenal Dive into Resilience and Empowerment
Reviewed: 01-22-25
These Crimson Bonds" by Annie Gray is an unforgettable exploration of the human spirit's resilience. It delves deeply into the psyche of a woman who has endured unimaginable trauma—surviving childhood sexual assault and later being sex-trafficked. Annie Gray handles these heavy topics with care and authenticity, shedding light on the challenges of recovery while weaving a story of hope and healing.
I was especially moved by the therapeutic processes the protagonist undertakes and the realistic portrayal of how recovery is possible with the help of a loving boyfriend and a supportive circle of friends. The empowered, take-no-prisoners moments were truly inspiring and had me cheering for the protagonist as she reclaimed her life.
This book is a powerful reminder that even in the darkest times, there’s a way forward, and it’s told with a balance of raw emotion and fierce determination. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a story of survival, healing, and bad ass female empowerment.

Story
At first, they struggle to escape. Then a torrent of blows rains down upon their bodies until their eyes cloud over in final agony. The killer shows no remorse - just a twisted need to witness each victim's last terrified moments. Public defender Rachel Wainwright is struggling to reopen a decades-old case, convinced that the wrong man is in prison. Homicide detective Deke Morgan doesn't want to agree. But if Rachel's hunch is correct, whoever fatally bludgeoned young, beautiful Annie Dawson 30 years ago could be the source of a new string of brutal slayings.
