Story
In Unruly, David Mitchell explores how early England's monarchs, while acting as feared rulers firmly guiding their subjects' destinies, were in reality a bunch of lucky sods who were mostly as silly and weird in real life as they appear to us today in their portraits.

The understated humor and everyday similes stood out, as well as the clear explanation of the essence of a complicated subject.

This is the 3rd Lee Christine book that I have listened to. It is part of a series but you don't need to have read the other two before reading this story. I enjoyed the setting of the Australian Snowy Mountains. Well written and narrated.

Gave up after 10 minutes. Actions of the heroine are just too stupid for words.
