Learned so much

This book could shift your negative opinions of bats to a level of admiration. There is so much inaccurate information we've been taught. And the press uses isolated cases to grab headlines that reinforces our beliefs. Here is a person who has a lifetime of stories working with bats all over the world. His adventures are sometimes funny sometimes heart-breaking and always enlightening. His dedication has no doubt saved countless colonies from extinction. Learn, change, then share the many benefits of bats with other doubters.

Book 1 & 3 were my favorites

Really enjoyed the detailed descriptions of the colors, scents, and tastes of India. I loved how the author wove the story through the social classes, and across the globe. Book 3 made me very happy I didn't quit on book 2!

Lots of thought provoking info - needs PDF

While this book is inspiring, it needs to be listened to with a pen and paper to write down all the resources (websites and names of places and people) that are delivered throughout the book. I really wish there was an accompanying PDF for all the resources mentioned. If you want to go.....listen to this for more encouragement and wisdom. Check the latest news for any country that sounds appealing.....things do change!

Story
What emotions do you associate with prayer? Fear? Uncertainty? Doubt? What does it take to find a life where prayer has power, where we can be confident and excited about getting to know the living God? Over the course of twenty-one days, Veridee Hand guides us through a prayer boot camp, teaching us how to launch our prayers into the throne room of Heaven. Fear and doubt have no place in a prayer life that thrives on the blessings God sends into the lives of His servants.

What would have made The Launching Pad better?
I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes of this book which is full of strong negative words of conflict. Unless you see your prayer life as a struggle between good and evil, leave this one on the shelf. Oh but if you are looking for a battle plan that includes praying, find the speed control for play back. 50% sounds like normal narration..

Great principles. Unexpected but encouraging facts. Great advice about educating your children about money. I just found it difficult to listen to the statistical data that supports the research. Even with the statistics I would listen to this title again to reinforce the principal. It was extremely encouraging to learn that the seemingly rich probably aren't as rich as they seem and income doesn't necessarly equal wealth.
