Story
Looking underneath the cover of globalization, Wood shatters the false narrative of a promised utopia and exposes the true nature of the deception used to promote this new economic order, in this audiobook. Those elite who hate the bedrock of American liberty and its time-tested constitution have pulled out all the stops to destroy both, and it's time for citizens to stand up to reject them. As always, Wood closes with the nature of effective resistance and the tools that can help to achieve success.

Who runs it? Best book and researcher out there today!!
--the history is deep and long and this lays the foundation of how
a "virus" could provide those in control to take an opportunity to shut down/alter forever the world ecomony.
Patrick has a wonderful voice. I always enjoy hearing authors read their own work.
He also has a weekly Podcast & website. This is the most important book-explaining where
we are --global lockdown to transition to full blown a webbed technocratic tracking system for all.

Story
Demonstrating once again her gift for spellbinding storytelling, Anne Rice makes real for us a great dynasty of four centuries of witches - a family given to poetry and incest, murder and philosophy, a family that over the ages is itself haunted by a powerful, dangerous, and seductive being called Lasher who haunts the Mayfair women. Moving in time from today's New Orleans and San Francisco to long-ago Amsterdam and the France of Louis XIV, from the coffee plantations of Port-au-Prince to Civil War New Orleans and back to today, Anne Rice has spun a mesmerizing tale.

The character Michael, a main character, has the voice of a teenage brat holding undertones of a slight NY accent.
He grew up in New Orleans then later resides in California where he does high end restoration of houses.
The distorted and mismatched voice for Michael's character was so distracting I could barely listen. Other characters
equally as poorly read with no southern accents. Kate Reading does ok with the British characters. This was not the correct reader for the setting and characters of this story.

More than 35 million Americans currently suffer from Hashimoto's - an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid gland and causes the body to attack its own cells. To alleviate the symptoms of this debilitating condition - including chronic cough, acid reflux, IBS, allergies, chronic pain, hair loss, brain fog, and forgetfulness - patients are often prescribed synthetic hormones that have numerous life-altering side effects. But there is a better way.

at 3.5 hrs. - still waiting to hear protocol
Reviewed: 03-08-19
Keeps talking around in circles and tells her story over and over.
She gets to 4. and says "now for the liver protocol" then keeps talking
about other aspects. She has a 3 hr. build up
to explain that the protocol is liver, adrenal, and gut yet at 3.5, I havn't heard
a succinct layout. She should give exact protocols fairly early in a clear layout and then
explain the details and break it down. This would help people that already have some
knowledge. Wouldn't recommend due to the convoluted layout.
I imagine the book is managable. Most of the info. I knew and was looking
for advanced program. Very basic. Waste of money for me. Reader's voice OK.

Story
Hallelujah, the new edition audiobook is the remarkable story of one of the greatest events in musical history, the creation of George Frederic Handel's masterpiece, "Messiah". Composed in just twenty-four days, Handel's Grand Oratorio, which rendered him immortal, was birthed in the darkest and most desperate hours of his life. His health was failing. Critics ridiculed him. Creditors hounded him. Enemies persecuted him. Pride had nearly destroyed him.

Fabulous

The writing is detailed, compelling-pulls you in from the get go. No having to hang in for a chapter or 2 to know
if you want to stay with it. A very clever story and the reader now is my favorite!! I've tried listening to a few
other books on tape and so few I make it beyond 5/10 min.

Would you listen to Short Stories again? Why?
These stories are so creative. It seems many films have taken ideas from these stories.
