Would you listen to 13 Things That Don't Make Sense again? Why?

possibly, but i am generally too bust to read pleasure books twice. if i wanted the technical info, then i might. but it is written very well for lay-people. you dont need to be a scientist to enjoy the book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of 13 Things That Don't Make Sense?

the overall theme that we cannot figure everything out.

Have you listened to any of James Adams’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

n/a

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

no emotional responses

Any additional comments?

just a fun book and helps me understand the overall position of science in the early 21st century.

This is a first class book from a great patriot. He outlines for us exactly the difference between America today and what the founding fathers intended. Statism is an economic failing ideology. Only through bad politics does is survive and even grow today, but we will all pay a very dear price if we do not turn it around. It starts with raising more of our children with values of honesty, integrity, and a hard work ethic....stop hurting each other and stop looking to the State to solve problems.

An excellent and accurate book. The media is killing itself and is failing to serve the purpose for which the founding fathers intended.

Roots Audiobook By Alex Haley cover art

Captivating Listen

I found the book impossible to get away from. It was serious and emotional....much better than the TV miniseries of the late 1970's, which tended to add a happy go-lucky country twang to to the story, when it was really a horrendous reality for slaves in America. After enjoying the audio book (I could never stick with a written book of this size), it was dissappointing to learn of the controversy surrounding the author (see wikepedia discussion on Alex Haley and Roots), but the book is excellent nevertheless.
