Story
They think I’m half angel and half human. They think I have no magic. They think that because I grew up in the human world, I’m clueless about what to expect at Seraphim Academy. They’re wrong. I’m not half human. I’m half demon. And this little succubus has come to play. My brother vanished from Seraphim Academy without a trace, and I’ll do whatever it takes to find him, including infiltrating the school myself. Even if it means going up against my brother’s best friends. They may be angel royalty, but if they think they can intimidate me into leaving, they’re wrong.

Two chapters are wonky but easy to overlook. Did not love the male narration but it was definitely worth the listen. The female narration is still awesome.

Even on the last of the series I feel like large sections of world building sections must have been removed, leaving me partially confused and feeling that I've missed out. Every book ending also had me wondering if I zoned out and missed something, having to go back a chapter to make sure I hadn't. This could have been an absolutely amazing series if given the time for detail.

Enjoyable stories. Narration isn't the best, but overall worth it. Uses the wrong character voices off and on throughout 32 books which causes some confusion at least twice per book. A series I will listen to or read again.

I hope the narration gets better..

Story is good but narration is really awful, I'll try the next couple of chapters to see if it gets better or bearable enough to finish. This may be one that's better to just read.
**EDIT**It was a decent story despite the reader for the first two chapters, after that the story vanished and I sat thru 5 waiting to see if it ever went back to the storyline but nope, I'm done and a bit saddened.

The mission: Put on a dress, pretend to be a lady, and infiltrate the academy of mages to steal a journal from the forbidden archives. The problem: I’m no mage and I’ve never worn a dress in my life. But it’s not like I have a choice. My bastard of an uncle basically sold me to a dangerously pretty nobleman, and they can’t pull off this heist without me. Unfortunately, once I fake my way through the entrance exam with a piece of hacked mage tech, and reach the floating kingdom of Reverie, my problems are only just beginning.

The worst narration I've ever heard. The main is so whiny, trying to sound younger, it's annoying as hell. I want to finish but just can't handle it. I'll read it myself.

Much better than the TV series (and that was good)
Reviewed: 11-02-20
Unfortunately I watched Season 1 first, which is unlike me... so a few times I actually walked away from this audible (a total of 2 months) but restarted it (four times😂) because it drew me back with the lure of the next books in this series. I bought them all at once. I highly recommend reading these BEFORE watching the TV version, they are very well written and more detailed than the television series. I enjoy the authors imagination and writing style! I love the characters and plot. I plan on reading (actually listen 😒) to all of the books in this series once through before I rewatch season 1, just in time for season 2 I hope.
