love this book but Elle's persistence with Damien makes me want to avoid any book she would be the main character of in the future. she needs to knock it off, seriously it's a toxic one-sided dynamic. other readers are entitled to disagree, but she's a character I'm tempted to avoid in the future and ruins any scene she's in when she is persistent about this Damian criticism.

second book in the mercury pack series and extends the world built in the phoenix pack series. all characters from both series are present creating an intricate crossover and adds to the storylines. I love that these are the first imprinted couple of both series, showing us more mating dynamics within this world as well as branching out from only wolf on wolf bonding. I love the unique backgrounds that create these strong characters and helps expand the world and opportunities in future books.
I love that the narrator adjusted details of how the story is performed to match the feline qualities of the main female character. this narrator is talented, skilled, and a good choice to take on both series. especially because there is some consistency between each character voice that is brought back from each previous book in either series.
one of the things that bothered me is a small inconsistent detail of Harley seeing ally's eye color as brown when it's emerald green in other books, it's a small inconsistent detail that seems to return to emerald green in following books.

ever since downloading this audiobook my audible has been crashing hard often especially when listening to this book. really seems like it's this audio. idk.

the new narrator makes different performance choices that affects the flow of the characters from book 1&2 into book 3, with that said, happy with both narrators once I got over the differences that made sequential listening jarring.

this is the best story line of the three but I could feel that way cuz we see more depth and growing bonds between characters that get introduced in books 1&2.
