Story
Ian Fraser Kilmister was born on Christmas Eve, 1945. Learning from an early age that chicks do appreciate a guy with a guitar, and inspired by the music of Elvis and Buddy Holly, Lemmy outgrew his local bands in Wales, choosing instead to head to Manchester to experience everything he could get his hands on. And he never looked back. White Line Fever, a headbanging tour of the excesses of a man being true to his music and his pleasures, offers a sometimes hilarious, often outrageous, but always highly entertaining ride with the frontman of the loudest rock band in the world.

Great story, bad narration

I love Motorhead and have had this on my reading list for a while. I should have just picked up the book. Who gets a teenage girl to narrate a story about Lemmy??
Terrible fake British accent, repeated lines, and just bad all around. I will still buy the book because the story is great but Audible should have this re-recorded.

Story
Since his wife died, Ralph Roberts has been having trouble sleeping. Each night he wakes up a bit earlier until he's barely sleeping at all. During his late-night walks, he observes some strange things going on in Derry, Maine. He sees colored ribbons streaming from people's heads, two strange little men wandering around town after dark, and more. He begins to suspect that these visions are something more than hallucinations brought on by lack of sleep.

Music is weird

I read this book about 20 years ago and it was as interesting this time as it was then. The misic and sound effects are a bit off putting, corny and too loud.
