Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

It was so wonderful...

Andy Weir writes such believable tech stories and this one is so full of challenges and hope. The pace of the story is spot on. The ending came too soon. Great work!
Ray Porter was fabulous! The challenge of performing an alien voice was masterful. Very well done.
I highest recommendation is that I will be listening to Project Hail Mary again!

With only a few months to live, he has been medically paroled to a nursing home after spending thirty years in prison for the crimes of rape and murder.

Great writing!

Eskens built the situation and characters with awesome skills. The storyline had me intrigued and then captivated, stirring up my emotions - fore and against the characters. The last several chapters were so dramatic that I sat in my truck, "driveway listening" until Joe & Lilah were safe.
The narrator did such an exceptional job with voicing the characters, pacing, and convincing me that these were the real voices of the characters. I will definitely be looking for other books that he has performed!

Story
For Mark Caldwell, an unsatisfying life was about to take a turn both terrifying and exhilarating as his fate took an unimaginable turn. When Mark took his aisle seat aboard United flight 4382, he was ignorant of three facts. The fellow passenger in the window seat was named Joseph Colsco. Neither of them would ever set foot on Earth again. They both would be cast naked on an alien planet.
