Story
Prince Liam. Prince Frederic. Prince Duncan. Prince Gustav. You think you know those guys pretty well by now, don't you? Well, think again. Posters plastered across the 13 kingdoms are saying that Briar Rose has been murdered - and the four Princes Charming are the prime suspects. Now they're on the run in a desperate attempt to clear their names. Along the way, however, they discover that Briar's murder is just one part of a nefarious plot to take control of all 13 kingdoms - a plot that will lead to the doorstep of an eerily familiar fortress for a final showdown with an eerily familiar enemy.

Story
The covenant that God made with the patriarch Abraham forms the basis of the three religions that today enjoy the largest followings in the world: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Despite the many common bonds among them, however, the Abrahamic religions have had an extremely complicated relationship, frequently defined by conflict, over the course of millennia of coexistence.

A very interesting topic.

I found this to be extremely informative. Before listening to this "book", I really didn't understand the relationship between the three failths. I will definately be listening to this one over again so that I might better absorb the points and comparisons.
The casual lecture style of the presentation is a nice deviation from the polished style of typical audio books.

A great Audible selection

I have been subscribing to the Forbes magazine as my monthly periodical almost since I first started listening to Audible. About 1 hour, biweekly is a great fit to my schedule, and I generally find the content interesting. Naturally, not all the articles are going to be relevent for every listener, but overall I find it well worth the time.

Story
Historians have long told the story of America’s birth as the triumph of Jefferson’s democratic ideals over the aristocratic intentions of Hamilton. Chernow presents an entirely different man, whose legendary ambitions were motivated not merely by self-interest but by passionate patriotism and a stubborn will to build the foundations of American prosperity and power.

The recorded length of the unabridged version of this title may seem daunting, but the hours just fly by. The author does a fantastic job of presenting the unique combination of skills and talents that were possessed by Alexander Hamilton. It is fascinating to listen to the significant part he played in securing and developing the government we live with to this day. Maybe I wasn?t paying enough attention, but it seems like my history classes never gave him the prominence he deserves.

In The Republic, Plato tackles the big issues of the state and the individual: how the state should be ruled, and by whom; and the way the individual should lead his life - and why. The lively quality of the dialogue can be clearly appreciated in this new translation by Tom Griffith.

I picked this title on sort of a whim, primarily because of its status as a timeless classic. I was initially skeptical as it represents a marked divergence from the types of audiobooks I am wont to select. Almost to my surprise, I found that I really enjoyed listening to it. I can now appreciate its reputation for provoking thought and reflection.
The narrator did a fine job in his ability to engage the listener, however he did have a tendency to reduce to a whisper that was often difficult to hear.
