Story
Most all tarot books present card-by-card interpretations as well as an instruction on how to read spreads. This book takes the next logical step inward by presenting the art of reading in a workbook format and helps you learn to interpret the cards intuitively. The book falls into two parts. The first part concerns learning about the cards and includes exercises for each card that teaches you to trust your interpretation of the card. The second part helps you develop that ability, a skill that Reed calls “intuition”.

Story
You may be surprised to learn that microchips are the new oil—the scarce resource on which the modern world depends. Today, military, economic, and geopolitical power are built on a foundation of computer chips. Virtually everything—from missiles to microwaves—runs on chips, including cars, smartphones, the stock market, even the electric grid. Until recently, America designed and built the fastest chips and maintained its lead as the #1 superpower, but America’s edge is in danger of slipping, undermined by players in Taiwan, Korea, and Europe taking over manufacturing.

So informative

I feel much of the compassion and the desire to teach the same way George Washington Carver wrote pamphlets to sharecroppers to make them stop purchasing fertilizer, but to use their own compost, stop buying seed, rather, save them from the field yourself, and to stop going into debt.
Paris translates to our modern world and gaining a clear view of what it is and paths to work with it, and eventual mastery to gain independence as well as freedom from debt.

Oliver Sacks' The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat tells the stories of individuals afflicted with fantastic perceptual and intellectual aberrations: patients who have lost their memories and with them the greater part of their pasts; who are no longer able to recognize people and common objects; who are stricken with violent tics and grimaces or who shout involuntary obscenities; whose limbs have become alien; who have been dismissed as retarded yet are gifted with uncanny artistic or mathematical talents.

I've thoroughly enjoyed this book. The case studies are useful for the curious and medical student understanding where in the central nervous system where a part is being affected and how it manifests. This is way better at demonstrating tangible examples instead of just a neurology textbook.

I'm amazed how recent everything is because when I used to have Facebook, I remember posting #freebritney then, and come to find out the depths of what you've been through is heartbreaking.
When I was growing up, I remember MTV and TMZ always trying to paint you in a bad way. I still love your music. But as an adult, I look at you as a friend, and cannot stand anymore trash talking and humiliation directed towards you. I believe it is projection from a hateful society jealous of your natural ability and talent.
I pray for your heart to feel peace and love. Thank you for sharing your voice. Follow your heart and know that we feel happiness seeing you blossom into your own being.
