Repetitive

While I agree with the concept of the self observing thoughts, I'm sorry to say, this book tells it in a boring way. I'd suggest others to read Stephen Mitchell's translation of the Tao Te Ching or Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now, but not this. His message on how you can and should always be happy was especially comcerning to me. Maybe this book would have been better recieved condensed down to 2 hours.

Maybe not the best American stories, but I enjoyed it. And it was free, so it can't really go wrong there.

The history of the last half century in America, Europe, and other major economies is in large part the story of wealth flowing upward. Drawing on decades of experience covering the global economy, award-winning journalist Peter S. Goodman profiles five representative “Davos Men”—members of the billionaire class—chronicling how their shocking exploitation of the global pandemic has hastened a fifty-year trend of wealth centralization.

There should be a lot more said about Klaus Scwaub. It's almost entirely about Trump.
