I loved Dr. Hasib’s book “Cybersecurity Leadership” and happened upon a LinkedIn introduction to the concepts from his new book “Bring Inner Greatness Out: Personal Brand.” It was a pleasure to meet several presenters who clearly had benefitted from his teachings of Personal Branding! Their energy and uniquely individual styles of story telling was inspirational. That very night, I updated my LinkedIn page with personalized background and added featured examples of my public work. Immediately, I received more of the professional traffic that I desired.
This book avoids jargon and is filled with real world examples of how you can express your unique value to employers and world. I have listened to Section 8 numerous times. It includes the topics: My Value, Bios and Professional Pictures, Cross-Brand Promotion, Global Networking, and Earned Media. This book literally changed my life and will continue to as I work through other chapters.
Following Dr. Hasib’s examples, I collaborated on a podcast, contributed to a national security blog, and was approached to speak at a Global Women in Tech Summit. Your results may vary, but I doubt it was a coincidence. Dr. Hasib’s passion for coaching, and mentoring really shines in this book. My next goal is mastering Section 10!
