Story
Clary Fray just wants her life to go back to normal - but that turns out to be impossible. For one thing, her mother is still in the hospital, in a mysterious coma. For another, she and her brother, Jace, have fallen under a cloud of suspicion now that the Shadowhunter world knows that Valentine is still alive - and that Jace and Clary are his son and daughter.

Any additional comments?
Sorry but I don't like the new narrator. She is not bad at what she does, I just think she should have listened to the other book first so she pronounced the name of things the same and gave the characters at least the same accent. Every time she said Stele it drove me crazy since it was pronounced differently in the first book and in the prequels.

Story
The Valefar boy tricked Ivy Taylor into kissing him, but he took much more than a kiss - he stole her soul and left her within inches of death. By surviving, Ivy is drawn into the conflict between the Martis and the Valefar. The war between these two immortal forces has raged for millennia without distraction. Until now. Ivy is an anomaly - she is the only person who has ever walked away from a demon kiss alive. Her survival gives her unique and deadly abilities. Too powerful to ignore, Ivy is a threat to both armies.

Just plain awful

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
I didn't even listen to more than a couple minutes of this book.
How could the performance have been better?
A smoother sound not so robotic. Too many pauses between letters in the same word too long of pauses between words.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
I could not even listen the book sounds like it is being read by a computer voice. It is very robotic. Just awful.
Any additional comments?
This book got buried down my audiobook list and I just got to it and I hope I can return it.
