I really appreciate getting to know Arnold’s story, POV and tips for successful living through his l personal and professional recollections. I’m inspired and will probably listen to this book —especially the most “useful parts”—again and again. =)

As the first American born child of immigrants (from the Philippines) I was very touched by this amazing story. Love Mia’s personality and resolve. I could follow her around all day. :)
Thank you for writing this, Kelly! <3

This tale was epic in practically every way—heartbreaking, uncomfortable, and brilliantly hopeful thanks to one of the best protagonists I’ve ever met. From the first sentence on I was in. I was willing to follow Damon /Demon anywhere. Kudos to the actor—an excellent choice.

Thanks for courageously telling your story, Harry. Your interweaving of family, society, love and personal yarns was no easy feat. Your touching on a myriad of themes with such honesty and inquisitiveness plus your brilliant descriptions of people and places (I felt like I was IN Botswana), kept me glued to the book. Bravo and best wishes to you and your family!

As a practicing artist in various disciplines, I’ve had the good fortune to know many thriving artists. This book is a great reminder that I can up my game in many ways and not “sacrifice” my soul and pocket book as an artist.

Author, Matt Bird , delivers in spades both in teaching and in reminding us how to produce stories that sing on key (useful techniques) with heart (emotional resonance) and melody (memorable voice). I love his real-world examples which include his own personal testimonial on the significance of stories. I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this fabulous book as I plug away at my latest project, a middle grade graphic novel. Thank you to Matt Bird for sharing his story secrets.

I came to Quinta’s book as a fan of Abbott Elementary so I’m pleased that the epilogue covers that topic well. I found SHE MEMES WELL both refreshing and honest. As a memoir, it is sincere reflection of Quinta, the entertainer and writer, as well as, Quinta, the young black Gen Z woman finding her way in multiple worlds. This is not a tell-all book which I appreciate. Quinta keeps mum on significant personal deets while offering humorous insights and a wide open lens into the worlds she has traveled. And that is the heart and gift of this book.
