I would say the first half of this read seemed like it was going somewhere, and somewhat promising. The second half is filled in with a gentleman with a heavy British accent, (This part is called Anger Management Affirmations), and he proceeds to declare small thoughts and reminders, geared towards calming ourselves, and being less agitated and angry. It repeats itself, in a loop that lasts forever. I have no idea how this previously got such great reviews. The mantras were more of a mental torture session for me.

After reading The Troop, I felt very secure and excited to enjoy this book. Simply put, this read starts off quite slow and rambling, until the main characters are introduced. It holds its weight for a while, but then melts into so many different side stories, and meaningless things that I tried to follow, that I found it unnecessary to pull the reader in those directions. Too many diversions, too many side steps, and honestly, I only finished this read, because I made myself.
