Story
In June 2021, the whole world was listening as Britney Spears spoke in open court. The impact of sharing her voice—her truth—was undeniable, and it changed the course of her life and the lives of countless others. The Woman in Me reveals for the first time her incredible journey—and the strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history. Written with remarkable candor and humor, Spears’s groundbreaking book illuminates the enduring power of music and love—and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms, at last.

Rebirth
Reviewed: 11-15-23
I believe this strong female has been reborn. I can’t fathom how the people who should shelter and protect her from the ugliness the world has to offer instead put her front and center. Money can do ugly things to people. The trauma Britney went through is so sad. The betrayal of her closest people is disgusting. I hope that she finds peace and lives her life on her terms and that she finds people that truly care about her and not take advantage. People need to do better.

Story
In my defense, my twin sister is engaged to the love of my life. Ok, so he’s my ex of two weeks, but I have totally been in love with him since we were kids!

Weak Female
Reviewed: 09-02-22
It upset me that the lead female was so weak and just kept taking abuse from the people around her. And then the fact that after all is said and done, her B!TC# if a twin just got away with her actions like all was well in the world. The continuous embarrassing moments for the heroine were excessive and too outrageous. I had a hard time getting through this. Also, the male lead sounds like a complete pig reminding us how he could just simply do any female whenever he wanted. Ugh.

Story
First celebrated for her voice, she became one of the most talked-about women in the world, whether for music and fashion, her relationship struggles, or as a walking blonde joke. But now, instead of being talked about, Jessica is doing the talking. Her audiobook shares the wisdom and inspirations she’s learned and shows the real woman behind all the pop-culture clichés. Open Book is an opportunity to laugh and cry with a close friend, one that will inspire you to live your best, most authentic life, now that she is finally living hers.

Enlightened

I got a new perspective on this artist who I used to misjudge. I loved hearing the vulnerability in her words because I could tell that they came from a place of truth. Her inspiration was raw and real from experiences she had lived. I can honestly say I see her in a new light.
