I had such a hard time paying attention to this book. The narrator was sooo monotone and the little bit of effort he did add, was still hard to tell the characters apart. You literally have to listen for a name to know who's talking. But the story itself was long for no reason at all. this could've been a 4 hour book. Thankfully it's included in my plus catalog, otherwise, I would've gotten my credit back.

This narrator ruined this book for me. It was nearly impossible to tell the characters apart. I could've cried lol. They started off announcing the character at the start of each chapter, but man oh man she kept the same southern draw for each character with no change in tone, or tempo. I must return this book.

Pretty good book. The beginning confused me a bit b/c it all seemed jammed pack. Maybe they could've made this into a 2 to 3 book series. Also I like iikane, but if she's narrating, ALWAYS slow the speed down to x9 or x8. I put it on x8 for this book b/c she was whipping threw it lol. *SPOILER ALERT* I say a 2 or 3rd book mini series, because the beginning gave us a brief description on how promiscuous she was, then meets her 1st husband and abruptly he's a cheater and woman beater. Then jumps right into her running into the pastor and liking him. All of a sudden their in love which what seems like the briefest encounter. The book felt rushed and missing tons of information. This book had potential, which is why I gave it a high rating.

Enjoyed this book, some things were repetitive, like Heaven and her idiotic way of thinking was so nerve wracking. But then, we were reminded that the girls were only about 20, so it made sense lol. Also, we could've went in depth on the investigation of the girl that was pregnant by Ross. Along with some more back story on Vegas' family, specifically the connect. Details on Ross and April's plan to take out their own son. Also, we could've had Heaven and Mello, come up with some sort of plan in case Ross acted on his threats. I just feel like the story was jammed pack and could've used a little more detailed fluidity.

Okay so I've had an audible account for ages and have collected great books. HOWEVER, this is about as good as the Cartel series! Very impressed! The writing the delivery just an A+! Its always great when a write can provide twists and turns while still staying on topic all while never having to repeat themselves when tying something together. Nothing I hate more than a full chapter on a flashback lol. This book exceeded my expectations!

I really tried to give this book a chance. There were so many places to take this book and the author just dropped the ball. Literally put out anything to wrap this series up. Disappointed. Its okay to give a flashback here and there but who's really reading book 3 and not starting with 1. I mean the flash backs were half if not an entire chapter half the time. The narrator (let us pray). He tried, but there's no distinction between the characters and then no inflection to match the scene. For instance; if someone receives devastating news, PLEASE SOUND DEVASTAED THE ENTIRE SCENE. I could go on, but I'll search for a new read instead.

While I wanted to smack Six the entire book, it was still a good book. Ain't no way somebody tryna love me in the BEST WAY, and I keep choosing the idiot. But you know what, we do that sometimes, so this storyline really just makes you reflect on your own decisions.

This book is really good but Ziah is so naive! It’s super annoying. Like why leave out important information. She makes sooo many dumb decisions. On top of that what was with the 5min of storytelling of what all was happening new in their lives. It sounded like the end of a movie and it was the middle of the book. Weird. Overall great story.
