Story
In The Power, the world is a recognizable place: There's a rich Nigerian boy who lounges around the family pool; a foster kid whose religious parents hide their true nature; an ambitious American politician; a tough London girl from a tricky family. But then a vital new force takes root and flourishes, causing their lives to converge with devastating effect. Teenage girls now have immense physical power: They can cause agonizing pain and even death. And, with this small twist of nature, the world drastically resets.

The main idea of the story is awesome! But I’m a bit disappointed… feels like there could have been more! Like so much could have been done with this story. It reads super confusingly as well. Ended prematurely.

Jason has a problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up on a school bus holding hands with a girl. Apparently she's his girlfriend Piper, his best friend is a kid named Leo, and they're all students in the Wilderness School, a boarding school for "bad kids." What he did to end up here, Jason has no idea—except that everything seems very wrong.

I felt like this reader read this book like she was reading to a two year old. I never knew you could be labeled a bad actress from reading. Bottom line this story should be reread. I want my credit back. I am happy to know they are not reading the next book. Did anyone listen to this before they uploaded to Audible???? No thought was put into choosing these readers. Children are not the only ones who enjoy this series.

This book had me on edge! I read the entire collection years ago but listening to it now is kind of ruining the story for me. New narrator PLEASE! I just cannot with her. She pronounces names Wrong and overall the writers MUST listen to what is read before uploading to Audible because a great story can be ruined by the wrong narrator.

I enjoyed reading ALL these books however we can strongly do without the sound effects and the yelling. It’s unnecessary and annoying while listening. Also, the 🛏 senses are pretty awkward with him narrating.

Please stay consistent and stop killing my vibe. How could you possibly make the grave mistake by forgetting how a person was murdered. First they were murdered by being choked with a chain then later on someone said he was shot in the head???? Which one is it?

This is a well written book; however, these books need a new reader because she does not have the animation, energy or the personality needed to read this story. The reader takes all action out of this story. The reader makes the book seem boring but, as I previously stated, it is a well written story as many other books by T. Styles and the publication group. Please find a new reader.
Zero stars for the performance...
