Story
In the near future, a civil servant is offered the salary of her dreams and is, shortly afterward, told what project she’ll be working on. A recently established government ministry is gathering “expats” from across history to establish whether time travel is feasible—for the body, but also for the fabric of space-time.

Sci-fi, thriller, comedy, romance, drama--I found many genres represented in this book, and represented well. The performance was also very well done. This was one of the books I wished would continue even after the end. a very good listen.

James SA Corey's new series starts off great. Jefferson Mays is probably one of the greatest audiobooks narrators around. Very eagerly anticipating the next installment!

The Free Navy -- a violent group of Belters in black-market military ships -- has crippled the Earth and begun a campaign of piracy and violence among the outer planets. The colony ships heading for the thousand new worlds on the far side of the alien ring gates are easy prey, and no single navy remains strong enough to protect them.

I don't think I'll ever go back to reading these alone. The performance is SO good.
