Story
Knar has been studying the physiology of humans for years in preparation to introduce Earth to the rest of the galaxy and present them as a species that can adapt to change well. Although he believes in his mission, he’s also had his eye on his coworker Leah, and her invitation to come home with her for the holidays is just the opportunity he’s been looking for. He just has to find some way to tell her that he’s more than just a gentile. He’s not even from this planet. And Leah hates liars.

Story
I’m the furthest thing from content with my situation. Bound to three alien husbands, I arrived on their home planet just in time to learn that everything was a con. I didn’t need to come to their home planet for a one-way ticket off Earth. I definitely didn’t need to trade my body to do it, but here I am, stuck on Lukrim with an inviolable tie to three liars. Freedom comes too late, leaving me at the brink of having to make a terrible decision. There’s no one at my side who I can trust and now I have to choose between my mental health and keeping one good memory alive.

I received this as a free code for an honest review. If you have a problem with abortion and the mental health ramifications of it this is not the book for you. I feel like you can skip this and start the next series. it is a good segue into the next series. this book definitely goes over a lot of the mental health hurdles these women went through and dealing with, with all of the new changes that are to come.

Story
Every year, thousands of human women ship off as brides to the planet Lukrim in exchange for Earth’s protection from Ralothian raiders. It’s a fair trade; Lukrim needs women and Earth needs guardians. It’s all volunteer, of course, except when a Lukrimian or two choose you as a wife and make you go. My family’s farm is the only thing I have left, and I’m determined to keep it, which means staying away from the attention of Earth’s alien overlords. When the four-armed Tremallin warrior Dagnar crash-lands on the distant edge of my property, I need to stay under the radar.

I've received a free code for an honest review. I like the book but not as much as the first one. I don't know why it felt so different from the first one. I'm not sure this was the best narrator for this story. However the overarching story for this series definitely had a good plot twist. I definitely want to listen to the next book.

Story
First, Coffeezilla torpedoes my career as a barista. Then he dangles my dream job like a carrot on a stick. So what do I do? Make a deal with the devil. I learned the hard way: trust no one. That’s why I’m stuck serving lattes in the first place. Then Trent Saunders, aka Satan, waltzes in. Mr. Hot Shot is too busy barking into his phone to stop and read. Is it my fault he missed the big DO NOT USE sign on the table? OK, maybe I shouldn’t have laughed when he spilled coffee all over himself. But he deserved it.

I got this as a free code for a honest review. If you want a book we're the MMC is a 100% cin roll who brings her out of her shell this is it. It's cute sweet and easy to follow. The reason for the 3 stars is because I got tired of the self hatred. There wasn't much communication between the characters as to why their personality were the way they were. The narrator read at you and you could hear the clicks of her keyboard or a clicker that she uses. This book would make good pallet cleanser after a big series.

I got a free code a honest review. I really enjoyed the 1st half of this book. The fmc was snarky and the quips they through at each other was hilarious. The reason for the missing star is because the funny started to go away and the sappy took over. Her quirky personality became a little more subdued. It was still a good book. The narrators did a great job.

As a whole, it is a good collection of stories. That being said, quite a few of the stories left me wanting more. They seemed to end without any sort of ending. They just stop and you move on to the next story.
