Heartbreaking

Sam Quinones book helped me to understand addiction, how fentanyl invaded street drugs and how meth has become king. As the mother of an addicted, homeless adult child, it infuriates me that so many lives have been destroyed by capitalistic greed.

An essential story for parents of addicted children

Maureen’s story is so similar to my story and that of so many of us. We are in a club that no one ever wishes to be in. Thank you for reminding me that it’s ok to have a life, to be happy despite the circumstances and the pain.
