Story
Helmed by Hollywood Black power couple Ryan Michelle Bathe and Sterling K. Brown, We Don’t Always Agree offers an elevated view of learning and growing together even (or especially) when we don’t see eye-to-eye. This dynamic duo explores topics that we weren’t discussing openly 20 years ago and the debates we’ve been hearing since the beginning of time. This show inspires belly laughs, may ruffle a few feathers, and sparks conversations as profound and affirming as they are entertaining.

Funny, sweet twist love start

From the introduction of this plot; I was intrigued how this worst best man would be a love interest. Even as Max is delivering the news of his brother's decision, Lena's interest is there...and so it begins when they see each other years later.
I enjoyed the characters and how their relationship came into play, with the subtle and slammed jabs from them both. enjoyed this read.

I am really enjoying the review and talking points of thr show. The insights on these wonderful characters is so enjoyable. And the talking views from Mike and Caroline ... love it. Sometimes they are so in sync or total opposite views. The conversation over Larry's so called love story and what he thought ... we'll be in love forever.
Just enjoy the snippets and discussion over interesting scenes. the point when Agnes shares her cause for her new husbands back troubled😉. I did not even notice the long pause before she said 'he carried over the threshold.' Great podcast!!

Story
In 1761, on a sunny day in September, a King and Queen met for the very first time. They were married within hours. Born a German Princess, Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz was beautiful, headstrong, and fiercely intelligent… not precisely the attributes the British Court had been seeking in a spouse for the young King George III. But her fire and independence were exactly what she, and her King, needed. Because George has secrets… secrets with the potential to shake the very foundations of the monarchy.

The book is far different from the movie, a good story with love, corrupt power and disregard for life by thise high in power. I was upset to see the lack of concern of people's rights. And though this is fictional, some bit of truth how those in power will do what they want.

I already had in my mind the fake romance would have a turn. Albeit, not in the manner evolved, I am happy with the final turnout. Lori discovery more than anything, she mayters and go for it....who knows how things will turn out.

For decades, “Ama” played host to American presidents, Wall Street titans, and cultural icons. But her favorite guests have always been her three “goddaughters”: Esperanza “Perry” Soto, a beautiful, talented Afro-Latina lawyer with Ama’s strong, yet guarded personality; Olivia Jones, a gifted Wall Street analyst with Ama’s brilliant, logical mind; and Billie Hayden, a gifted marine biologist and rule-breaker with Ama’s courageous free spirit.

Great read! Enjoyed the perspective
Reviewed: 04-10-22
I really enjoyed this story, with a young person's perspective during a very disheartening time in South Central LA after the Rodney King aftermath. Jordan's transition from his home country of Korea to America. And finding his place within his family.
There are some great insights of Korean honor to family and the trouble young people navigate. The story is exciting and fun read as Jordan makes way to his family store near all of the rioting and danger to help his dad. But he learns this help has consequences.
Absolutely a great read!
